What better way to start the day than with a hearty breakfast?
Our first destination for the day was the Waihi Goldmine Lookout.
You will see this giant truck at the entrance of the mine.
From the top, we got a bird’s-eye view of the mine.
The magnificent Owharoa Falls was next.
A 50-meter walk was required from the main road.
It was worth it.
At Ohinemuri Park, we found this giant L&P bottle display.
Along the way, we stopped by this cafe for a break. It seems that the place was quite popular with the locals.
Next, time for some shopping at Manawa Bay Outlet.
Many popular brands can be found here with attractive discounts.
After that, we checked into our next Airbnb.
A fully equipped 2-story 3-bedroom apartment that was beautifully furnished.
As it was getting late, we went to the town center for dinner.
And decided to have a Hotpot dinner for a change.
We found out that this place was still open!!!!!!!
Bought breakfast for the next day.
