Today we will be visiting Mae Wang National Park in the morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An entrance fee was required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, we stopped by the Campsite View Point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Over here, you can marvel at the lake view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Next, we arrived at the Pha Chor Geotectonic Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There was a Park Ranger there to explain the routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

At the entrance was the Pha Chor View Point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Most visitors would take some photos at this location before heading off to the trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It’s exactly quite easy as the paths were well maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were also Rest Points along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a short walk, we arrived at the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often referred to as Thailand’s “Grand Canyon,” Pha Chor features towering cliffs, striking rock formations, and steep canyons sculpted by the forces of nature. The site offers visitors an impressive display of geological beauty, with its layered sedimentary rock showcasing a variety of colors and textures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Park, the restaurant where we intended to have lunch was closed. So we used Google Maps to locate another restaurant nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was the type of restaurant local visits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div>
\"\"<\/figure><\/div>

The food was simple but delicious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also ordered Thai Milk Tea and Coconut dessert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We bought tickets for 4 people and 1 car again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For our next destination, the Wachirathan Waterfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This majestic waterfall plunges over 80 meters down a granite cliff, creating a stunning cascade surrounded by lush tropical forests. The name “Wachirathan” translates to “Diamond Creek,” reflecting the waterfall’s sparkling, misty spray that catches the sunlight beautifully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ample car park spaces were available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was also a small Tea House there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Waterfall, we proceeded to the Pagoda of Naphamethanidon Naphapholphumisiri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After parking at the assigned car park, a free shuttle truck was available to take us to the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

However, it was very misty on that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the evening, we went back to The House by Ginger. We were given a private room this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to order something different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first destination for today was the Warorot Market on Kuang Men Road. This is one of Chiang Mai’s oldest and most bustling markets, offering an authentic glimpse into Northern Thai culture and daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Located near the Ping River, this vibrant market is a labyrinth of stalls and shops selling a wide range of goods, including fresh produce, spices, local snacks, clothing, textiles, and household items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the market, we headed to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan, one of the most revered temples in Chiang Mai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

There were many shops right outside the temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Visitors can reach the temple via a steep staircase of 306 steps, flanked by ornate Naga serpent statues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we reached the entrance of the temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There was a 30 baht entry fee for foreigners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The temple, believed to have been founded in the late 14th century, is an important pilgrimage destination for Buddhists and a significant cultural landmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The temple’s centerpiece is its dazzling golden chedi (stupa), which enshrines holy relics of the Buddha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surrounding the centerpiece were many other smaller sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The temple is not only a place of deep spiritual significance but also an architectural marvel, with intricate carvings, murals, and shrines that reflect the rich heritage of Lanna culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our next destination was Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The park features a series of enchanting waterfalls, surrounded by lush greenery and rocky landscapes, offering visitors a tranquil escape into nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cascading waters create a mesmerizing sight and provide a cool, refreshing atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for picnics, nature walks, and relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was also a man-made cave where we could go through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Midway, we took a short break at the cafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For dinner, we chose a local restaurant called DASH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a nice family-owned restaurant that served Thai Food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Margarita and Fruit Punch came first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Followed by the Pineapple Fried Rice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chrispy Seafood Noodles in curry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The must-have Red Tom Yum Soup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Stir-Fried Vegetable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And our favorite Fried Fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It was one of the best-tasting meals we had in Chiang Mai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
