Our first destination was the Nabegataki Falls at Aso Unesco Global Geopark. The fee was \uffe5300 per adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A short scenic walk was required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get to the Waterfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was a small trail where we could walk behind the waterfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we proceed to Daikanbo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the observation deck at Daikanbo, visitors can marvel at the vast expanse of the Aso caldera, a massive crater formed by ancient volcanic activity. On clear days, the view extends for miles, encompassing the lush green valleys, dramatic cliffs, and steaming volcanic vents that define the rugged beauty of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to its stunning vistas, Daikanbo is also a popular starting point for hiking trails that wind through the surrounding mountains and forests, offering opportunities for outdoor adventure and exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Aso station, we found the statue of USOPP. A character from One Piece. There are a total of 10 statues situated around Kyushu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in cities such as Kumamoto and Beppu, the One Piece statues in Kyushu serve as cherished landmarks and attractions, drawing fans from near and far to experience the magic of the series firsthand. Each statue portrays a different character from the One Piece universe, from the fearless pirate captain Monkey D. Luffy to his loyal crewmates and formidable adversaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROBIN statue was at the Earthquake Museum (Former Tokai University) not far from USOPP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were treated to the vast grassland of Kusasenri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horses can be seen roaming freely on the grassland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were lucky that to be allowed to drive up to Aso Nakadake Crater! There was a fee of \uffe5800 per car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Entry will be prohibited if the volcanic eruption alert is at level 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we continued our journey, we arrived at the active volcano site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These were volcano shelters provided in the event of an unexpected eruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steams could be seen coming out from the active craters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Aso Nakadake Crater, we arrived at Aso-Kuju National Park where we got a Panoramic view of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Found the statue of Franky near Takamori station\u270c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manai Big Falls@Takachiho Gorge was our last destination for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were suppose to take the required amount of amenities located at the Lobby. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
