On day 6, we started the day early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Viking breakfast at the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first place we visited was Shurijo Castle Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This is the gate everyone must walk through when visiting the Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The actual castle is presently under construction due to a huge fire. It will take years to rebuild the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Near Shurijo Castle Park, there was a Royal Mausoleum. The Tamaudun Mausoleum<\/em> (\u7389\u9675) was built around 1501 as the mausoleum<\/em> for the royal<\/em> family of the Ryukyu Kingdom. It is now a Unesco World Heritage site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a small fee of \uffe5300 to enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first part of the tour, which is indoor, gives you the history of the Tamaudun Mausoleum<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After which, we proceed to the actual site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Naminoue Shrine was our next destination. There are parking spaces within the shrine. However, if it is full, you need to find parking elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems to be quite popular with the locals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>
\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

You could make wishes and put them up for good luck here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the most crowded place within the shrine was where you could purchase Good Luck Charms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a small park and beach where you can take a stroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were getting hungry by now, so we planned to have lunch at Umikaji Terrace Senagajima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The place is situated near Naha Airport and we could see planes taking off and lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There are 3 levels of food restaurants here. It comprises both local and International cuisines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Many of the restaurants have seating facing the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Many of them were also nicely decorated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to have an American meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These were what we ordered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We found Blue Seal Ice Cream nearby and had some after-meal desserts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s time for some shopping at the Ashibinaa Okinawa Outlet Mall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It was a fruitful day, we made many purchases here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the evening, we arrived at Naha Kokusai Dori Street again. This time around, we took the time to walk the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>
\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The streets were crowded with people both locals and tourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After some walking around, we decided to have dinner here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This restaurant served local dishes and had a live performance of folk songs. At the climax, we were invited to stand up and dance to the songs. It was a fun dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, we went back to the hotel to rest as we had an early flight the next morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
