Day 4 started with the breakfast provided by the hotel. We collected it from the reception and brought it up to the room.<\/p>\n\n\n

We then took a walk around Hai’an Road Art Street.<\/p>\n\n\n

The area was filled with narrow alleyways lined with shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n

Next, we headed over to Chimei Museum. From its majestic Fountain of Apollo and Greek-style bridge to its breathtaking dome crowned with the Angel of Glory, the museum offers a stunning Neoclassical building set within Tainan Metropolitan Park, showcasing over 10,000 exquisite objects (with around 4,000 on display).<\/p>\n\n\n

There is also a beautiful wooden walkway around the lake.<\/p>\n\n\n

Time to take a break. This is a Kabibara theme cafe.<\/p>\n\n\n

The main attraction is the Kabibara garden next to the cafe.<\/p>\n\n\n

You can view them from inside.<\/p>\n\n\n

Or you can enter the garden, get close and personal with them, and touch them on the back. There was no time limit on the stay. Instructions were given on what and what not to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time for lunch. It was after 2 pm, and many of the restaurants were closed till 5 pm. So we decided to have teppanyaki, which was still open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The side dishes came first, but the mains took quite a while, as there was only one chef, and the restaurant was quite full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ordered duck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salmon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Milk Fish belly. The food was delicious, but the wait was a little longer than I liked.<\/p>\n\n\n

The next destination was Yuguang Island (\u6e14\u5149\u5c9b). The island is renowned for its stunning sunsets.<\/p>\n\n\n

Next, we headed to the other popular night market in Tainan, Da Tong Night Market. The two night markets take turns to open during the week so that they don’t affect each other’s sales. Check the website to see which one is open on the day of your visit. Some hardworking stalls operate at both night markets.<\/p>\n\n\n

The night market consisted of game stalls, clothing stalls, and the rest food stalls.<\/p>\n\n\n

We ordered dumplings and baked fish.<\/p>\n\n\n

Still not satisfied, we went for dessert and found one still open on Google Maps. However, we did not record the name of this place…….<\/p>\n\n\n\n
