Taiping Suspension Bridge

Our first destination for the day was Taiping Suspension Bridge (太平雲梯).

It was misty during our visit.

Taiping Suspension Bridge

The bridge is Taiwan’s highest and, at 281 m long and roughly 1,000 m above sea level, was once the nation’s longest suspension bridge.

Taiping Suspension Bridge

It spectacularly spans between Mount Taiping and Guishan, offering breathtaking panoramic views—from Chiayi’s cityscape and the iconic Meishan 36‑bends to the Chianan Plain and even the Taiwan Strait.

Hub Hotel Taichung Wenxin

We then continued our journey to the Hub Hotel Taichung Wenxin. A reasonable-sized lobby.

They also have a reading cum pantry area where guests can come here to relax and have drinks and snacks provided.

The double-bedded room was comfortable and big.

It also has a huge bathroom. The only inconvenience was that they did not have their private parking area. We were required to park at a nearby paid car park.

Keng Tu Yuan Teahouse

We found on the internet that this restaurant Keng Tu Yuan Teahouse is very popular. So we decided to give it a try.

Short Legs A-Lu Cocoa Cookies

While on our way to the Night Market, we found a long queue outside this shop. After checking, we realised that this is a very popular cookie house. So we decided to join the queue.

A group of 5-7 people was invited into the shop at each time.

A sample will be given to each to try. Then they would take your order and pack it.

A short distance away is the Feng Chia Night Market.

This is a brand of Flower Tea we don’t see often. So we decided to give it a try.

After which, we called it a night and returned to the hotel to rest.
