Again, got to wake up early for our transport to our day trip at Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Arrived at our destination after about a 2-hour ride.

Site map of the place.

2 things to note when visiting this place. First, do pay for the Escalator ride. Or else there would be one hell of a climb.

2nd, wear thick clothing there to keep warm. The Gorge is very windy, and you will feel very cold.

A souvenir shop at one of the sections.

The famous Leaping Tiger statue.

The next destination for the day was Hapa Snow Mountain Lookout.

No snow during our visit. But the view was still majestic.

We continued our journey and arrived at Shangri-La.

The first place we visited here was the Shangri-La Inner Harmony Stupa of Pagoda.

Turn the Bells in a clockwise direction to bring you good fortune.

Lunch was at a Traditional Tibetan Family Restaurant.

We ate it the traditional way. To my surprise, it was quite delicious.

After lunch, we were brought to the Napa Lake Grasslands.

We took part in the horse riding in the Glassland.

Those not riding were free to roam around the glassland. But beware of the horse shit that was lying everywhere.

The horses here are the shorter and smaller versions.

The next destination was the Moonlight Square.

And the famous Giant Prayer Wheel. Standing at an impressive 21 meters high and weighing 60 tons, this golden bronze marvel is one of the largest prayer wheels in Asia and a must-see spiritual landmark

A hotpot dinner to end our day and trip in Lijiang.
