The snow has fully melted, and we will be heading to Christchurch today.

Making sure we had a full tank before setting off on our journey.

Along the way, we saw several police cars enforcing speed limits. They are normally stationed at the end of a bend. It is usually too late by the time you see them. So it is best to maintain the correct speed limits at all times.

More cows and even horses can be seen.

We stopped by the Taniwha of Rakaia to view the site.

We decided to have lunch at Cafe on the Green. It is situated within a Golf Club.

The tables were set with the green in view.

Our food is here. Yummy.

After another hour of driving, we arrived at Arthur Pass National Park.

A Kea was interested in our car. Maybe it smelled food.

We will be trekking part of the trail.

The snow here has not fully melted.

Scenery along the track.

The steps were still wet and slippery.

Arrived at the waterfall after a 30-minute climb. The objective of the day was met. The Te Tautea o Hinekakai falls.

We got to realize that the way down was even more difficult.

After all the walking, we rewarded ourselves with a good dinner.

Look at what we ordered.

We also got ourselves some milk tea to rinse down our food.

Our Airbnb for the next two nights.
