DAY 3

As we had 5 people in the group, we booked this type of Taxi from the Grab app which can accommodate up to 6-7 persons.

As today was a weekend, our first destination was the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market.

Open on Saturdays and Sundays, the market is a must-visit destination for those looking to experience the vibrant culture and bustling energy of Bangkok.

Known for its lively and eclectic environment, Chatuchak Weekend Market is divided into sections to help visitors navigate its extensive offerings. However, part of the charm is exploring the maze-like layout and discovering hidden gems.

One thing you must try is the Mango Sticky Rice.

After a few hours exploring the Weekend Market, we proceed to the latest Mall in Bangkok, The Emsphere.

It’s big, new and colorful.

It’s a place to explore high-end fashion, indulge in gourmet delights, and catch the latest blockbuster—all under one roof!

After Emsphere, we headed over to Jodd Fairs at Dannermit.

This is where you will find Carriages, Hot Air Balloons, Castles, and Antique Cars all in one place.

And rows of shops selling all kinds of stuff.

This is one dish you have to try, Vocalno Ribs.

We also ordered Chicken, vegetables, eggs, and Fish.

Yummy…….

We found a stall selling Pang Cha dessert.

DAY 4

This morning, we decided to try the famous Soi 19 Wanton Noodles.

Look at the queue.

All noodles are freshly prepared after you order.

We finally got our share of Noodles and Pork Trotters rice.

We went to Sathorn Pier again to check out the various Ferry rides.

These were the places frequented by visitors.

Some rides cost between 500 to 1000 baht.

We decided to get the All Day River Pass which allowed us to hop on and hop off to multiple places along the Chao Phaya River.

Here comes the ferry. There were upper and lower deck seatings.

We preferred the lower deck cause it’s hot up there.

We alighted at Phra Arthit, the upper limit of the ride.

There were some shops selling stuff at the pier.

What you can find there.

Next stop, Tha Maharaj Pier.

Over here, there was a short street selling religious items.

The place was nicely decorated.

It’s time for lunch.

Tasty and yummy.

After lunch, the next stop was N9 Thachang.

It’s just a short walk from the Pier to The Grand Palace. All female visitors must be properly dressed before being allowed to go in.

The visit to the outer perimeter was free, and the Grand Palace was 500 baht per person.

The place was huge.

Our next stop was the Wat Arun Pier.

Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, is one of Bangkok’s most iconic and stunning landmarks. Situated on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, this magnificent temple is renowned for its striking architecture and intricate design.

The central feature of Wat Arun is its towering prang (spire), which rises over 70 meters high and is adorned with colorful porcelain and seashell mosaics that glitter beautifully in the sunlight.

We decided to ride back to Icon Siam as there were many sections within the Mall that we had not visited.

Our aim for today is “Chill”. So let’s Chill.

The section that resembles the Floating Market.

We proceeded to the Napalai Terrace.

It is located on the 7th floor.

The terrace provides a grand view of Bangkok.

The night view of the Chao Phraya River.

For dinner, we wanted to try the famous Siamese Boat Noodle.

First, cold drinks to cool off the heat.

Followed by the Noodles.

After dinner, we went over to Soi 15 and had a leg massage.

Followed by walking the Night Market nearby. The place was alive with many people.

We called it a day after this.

DAY 5

Arriving at Bangkok airport early in the morning.

Did some last minutes shopping before the flight.

Goodbye Bangkok………
