On day 6, we started the day early.

With Viking breakfast at the hotel.

The first place we visited was Shurijo Castle Park.

This is the gate everyone must walk through when visiting the Park.

Sights within the Park.

Overhead view of the Park.

The actual castle is presently under construction due to a huge fire. It will take years to rebuild the place.

Near Shurijo Castle Park, there was a Royal Mausoleum. The Tamaudun Mausoleum (玉陵) was built around 1501 as the mausoleum for the royal family of the Ryukyu Kingdom. It is now a Unesco World Heritage site.

There is a small fee of ¥300 to enter.

The first part of the tour, which is indoor, gives you the history of the Tamaudun Mausoleum.

After which, we proceed to the actual site.

Naminoue Shrine was our next destination. There are parking spaces within the shrine. However, if it is full, you need to find parking elsewhere.

It seems to be quite popular with the locals.

You could make wishes and put them up for good luck here.

However, the most crowded place within the shrine was where you could purchase Good Luck Charms.

There is also a small park and beach where you can take a stroll.

We were getting hungry by now, so we planned to have lunch at Umikaji Terrace Senagajima.

The place is situated near Naha Airport and we could see planes taking off and lands.

There are 3 levels of food restaurants here. It comprises both local and International cuisines.

Many of the restaurants have seating facing the sea.

Many of them were also nicely decorated.

We decided to have an American meal.

These were what we ordered.

We found Blue Seal Ice Cream nearby and had some after-meal desserts.

It’s time for some shopping at the Ashibinaa Okinawa Outlet Mall.

It was a fruitful day, we made many purchases here.

In the evening, we arrived at Naha Kokusai Dori Street again. This time around, we took the time to walk the place.

The streets were crowded with people both locals and tourists.

After some walking around, we decided to have dinner here.

This restaurant served local dishes and had a live performance of folk songs. At the climax, we were invited to stand up and dance to the songs. It was a fun dinner.

After that, we went back to the hotel to rest as we had an early flight the next morning.

Good Bye Okinawa, See you again soon……………..
