After a hearty buffet breakfast at our hotel, the first place we visited today was the Okinawa World.

The entry fee for each adult was ¥2000.

Let’s move out.

The first attraction as you enter the park will be the Gyokusendo Cave. It’s a subterranean wonderland renowned for its mesmerizing beauty and geological splendor.

You will venture deep into the earth, guided by illuminated pathways that wind through a labyrinth of stalactites and stalagmites, each formation resembling intricate works of art crafted by nature over millennia.

The cavernous chambers echo with the gentle drip of water, creating a serene ambiance that envelops explorers in a world of wonder and enchantment.

In general, it was an educational walk.

As we exited the cave, we arrived at the Tropical Orchards.

At the Orchards, we saw many Fruit Trees, some of which we had never heard before.

As we continued our walk, we came across a Traditional Crafts Village where Artisans demonstrated traditional Okinawan crafts such as pottery, glassblowing, and weaving. The place allows visitors to witness the creation process and even try their hand at crafting.

Next, we visited the Ryukyu Village.
A recreated traditional village that offers insights into Okinawa’s rich cultural heritage. Visitors can explore traditional houses, workshops, and performances that showcase Okinawan crafts, music, and dance.

Within Okinawa World, there is a Habu Sake Distiller famous for its Snake Sake. It was said that the Sake helps promote vitality in the body.

One of the highlights of Okinawa World is the captivating cultural performances that celebrate the vibrant traditions of the Ryukyu Kingdom. From dynamic Eisa dances to mesmerizing Ryukyu dance performances, visitors are treated to a spectacle of music, dance, and storytelling that showcases the island’s cultural diversity and resilience.

The park also features two restaurants serving authentic Okinawan cuisine, allowing visitors to savor the flavors of the island’s culinary delights.

The prices were acceptable and the taste was good.

Our next adventure for the day would be to take this boat out to the open sea to look for whales.

After everyone had donned their life jacket and attended the safety briefing, we set sail to look for whales.

For the first hour, we sail around the water popular with the whales without any results.

Finally, we spotted 2 whales and followed their movement for the next 1 hour.

After a short rest at the hotel, we proceed to Yaese Park for the Night Sakura Fair.

The whole park was lit up beautifully and many visitors were there too. You could also have a birds-eye view of downtown Okinawa from up here.

We called it a day after dinner at a restaurant along Naha Kokusai Shopping Street.
