On Day 4 of our Okinawa Self-Drive trip, the first destination we are visiting is the Sefa-Utaki Sacred Site.

Follow the directional signs, we had to park our car at the car park opposite the venue.

And bought the entry tickets which cost ¥300 per person at the Ticket machine.

After that, we had to walk across the road and up a gentle slope.

Around 300 meters, you will reach the entrance.

There were more steps and paths within the site. However, they are all well-maintained and easy to walk.

Within the site, there are a few different locations of interest. One of them is this Ufuguui. This is an area where ritual functions are held.

Next is Yuinchi. Over here, a horse-shaped stone that was used to foretell yearly fortune was placed here.

The most popular site was this Triangle-Shaped Opening that was used for many ceremonies in the older days.

You will find this photo spot on the way to the site.

Several shops could be found here too.

We tried out these Okinawa buns that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Just a short walk from the car park is Cape Chinen Park, a beautiful scenic seaside park overlooking the ocean.

Our next adventure was the Glass Bottom Boat ride.

Boarding our boat.

The Captain brought us out to the open sea to spot fishes.

After all the excitement, time for a hearty meal.

We continued our journey to the Peace Memorial Park.

Followed by the John Manjiro Landing Place.

The final destination for today was the American Village at Chatan. After dinner here, we called it a day.
