The plan was to visit Tsukiji Outer Market in the morning. But it was raining heavily. So we decided to have breakfast at the restaurant inside Tsukiji Buddhist Temple.

It was pretty crowded despite the rain.

We took a number and waited for our turn.

This is their most popular item and it was out of stock by the time we got our table.

We had to settle for these. They were still good though.

We decided to scrape the Outer Market and headed for Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku instead.

The South Observatory was opened today.

The express lift brought us up to the 45th floor in a very short time.

The place was very crowded too.

Due to the rain, visibility was not very good.

Next, we walked around the shopping area in Shinjuku station.

Look at all the beautifully prepared food. You will feel hungry just by looking at them.

We headed over to Shibuya next. Two things you must do here, first visit the Hachikō Memorial Statue.

Next, do the Shibuya Scramble.

More shopping in Shibuya station.

We walked over to the Shibuya-Yokocho.

This is their layout.

The place is filled with eateries on both sides.

The whole place was filled with people. It was very difficult to find an empty table.

Next place we visited was Takeshita Street in Harajuku.

Look at the number of people here.

You will find all kinds of shops here.

We decide to try this for dinner.

We ordered both the steamed and pan-fried gyoza. It went down well with the beers.

Back to the hotel for Onsen before we called it a day.
