Today we will be driving up to Genting Highland from KL. Those not planning to stay in KL, may drive directly up Genting from Singapore.

It would take about 5-6 hours non-stop. Do take regular rest along the way.

Before heading up, we planned to have lunch at this Japanese restaurant. It’s a charcoal BBQ Yakiniku Buffet.

Free-flow side dishes.

More sides.

This is what it looks like inside.

To order, you fill up an order slip and they will bring the meat over. They provide Beef, Lamp, Pork, Chicken, and seafood. The selections is quite a lot.

Let’s start eating.

After lunch, we drove towards Genting Highland. There are clear road signs along the way.

The traffic up Genting does get congested at times.

As you go higher, they may be times that the road becomes misty. Do turn on your headlights and drive carefully.

Yeah…..we arrived at our hotel – SCAPES, which is midway up Genting. There are a lot of new hotels being built around here. You will never run out of rooms in the near future.

Our bed for the next 2 nights.

It came with TV, mini-bar, bottled water, coffee etc.

Sorry, no Bath Tub.

After we settled our lugguages, we continued and drove up to Genting Highland. Arriving at Hotel First World.

As it was the holiday session, both the Indoor Theme Park Sky Tropolis and Outdoor Theme Park Sky World were crowded with many peoples.

We also went to the Outdoor Theme Park.

Beside Theme Parks, you will find many shops and restaurants here.

We decide to go to Dragon-i for dinner.

We ordered Wanton Noodle.

Braised Amaranth with 3 different eggs.

Pork Chop Fried Rice.

Stewed sliced fish.

Braised Pork.
It was another day where we eat eat eat and shop shop shop.
After dinner, we went back to the hotel to rest.
